Our route takes us through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, traversing the scenic Tizi n'Tichka pass. Along the way, we pause to immerse ourselves in the stunning scenery and explore charming Berber hamlets, offering a delightful opportunity to enjoy a refreshing cup of coffee or mint tea in a serene setting. In the afternoon, we visit the renowned Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This historic Berber Kasbah holds great significance as a favored filming location for international filmmakers, having been featured in more than 20 films. It also served as a vital stronghold along the historic Salt Road, facilitating the trade of slaves, money, ivory, and salt. Continuing our journey, we venture into Ouarzazate, widely acclaimed as the "Hollywood of Africa." From there, we proceed to the picturesque Dades Valley, passing through the charming Megoun and Skoura, which are berber settlements surrounding the valley. We conclude the day by spending a restful night in the enchanting Dades Valley.

After breakfast, we depart from Dades Valley and make our way to the breathtaking Todgha Gorges, widely recognized as one of the most beautiful and impressive canyons in Morocco. We indulge in a delightful lunch amidst this picturesque setting before continuing our journey to Merzouga. Along the way, we pass through enchanting landscapes adorned with lush oasis palm groves, providing a truly mesmerizing experience. Our route takes us through Erfoud, renowned as the fossil capital, celebrated for its thriving fossil industry. Next, we venture deeper into the Erg Chebbi sand sea, where we are greeted by captivating dunes seemingly emerging from nowhere. Upon reaching our hotel or riad, we meet our knowledgeable camel guide and embark on a remarkable camel ride into the heart of the desert, arriving at our bivouac, a traditional campsite adorned with authentic Berber tents. Under the brilliance of the starlit night sky, we unwind and cherish the tranquil ambiance. We ascend the dunes, marveling at the enchanting moonrise, before retiring for the night in a cozy nomadic tent.

After an early wake-up, we savor the mesmerizing desert dawn before embarking on a camel ride back to the charming Merzouga village, where our hotel or riad awaits. From there, our journey continues to the captivating city of Fes. En route to the High Atlas highlands, we take a delightful break to enjoy traditional tea with a nomadic family, immersing ourselves in their rich culture. Our next stop is the picturesque village of Midelt, renowned for its abundant minerals. Situated at an impressive altitude of 1,488 meters above sea level, this mountain settlement is nestled near the majestic Jbel Ayachi, towering at 3,737 meters.
